Job Description

TheRegional SalesTrainer(RST)is a dedicated in-field training role thatsupportsRINVOQ Dermatologyin the design and delivery of training solutions to aregionalsales organization.An RSTwillbe responsible forprovidingregional / nationaltraining, coaching, and support.This encompassesthe combination of field travel, coaching reports, live training, salesmeetings,and virtual sessions.This will ensure thesalesorganizationhasthe knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively sellproducts,in turnachievingsales targets.This role will be critical incollectingmarket landscape insightsforthe Brand / Franchisearound messaging, competition, andaccess.

AnRSTensuresboth Trainingand Brand Strategyiseffectively represented in all training programs and solutions.This role is accountable to quickly build relationships with key stakeholders and manage several stakeholders at various levels.(NSM,RSD,SD, AD Training,Marketing) Therole requiresa high levelof performance coaching, strategy alignment/execution, and applicationof trainingfundamentals to enhance performance.This position isremoteand preferably within the assigned regions.

CoreJobResponsibilities:

  • In partnership with DM,post IFTC, ensures new hire learningpulling throughviaadvanced training and being a formal mentor

  • Develop and pull-through advanced training that increases effectivenessof the representatives

  • Conductingfield visits with sales representatives to provide feedbackand coaching on key skills and knowledge areas.

  • Continue to develop skills of all representativesin anincreasingcompetitive and dynamicmarket

  • Responsibleto developa training and marketing communication plan to deliver strength/gap assessment of field representatives andcollaborateon plan toenhance training

  • Designs, develops,and deliverscompliantadvancedlearning solutions that increases effectiveness of participants

  • LeveragesexistingLearning&Developmentcore platforms and content within the specific Franchise/Brand training products,to limit duplicative effortsand ensure consistency

  • Demonstrates direct and open communicationwithkey stakeholdersresulting in positive relationships and mutualalignment

  • Provides candid and specific verbal& writtenfeedback resulting in training participants being aware of strengths and weaknesses including a plan for improved performance

  • Recognizes the skill level of training participants and adjusts coaching and training techniques to meet the needs of individuals

  • Demonstrates and appliesknowledgeofallstakeholderbusinesses, strategiesandprioritiesand integrates training activities into brand team business plans

  • Recognizedas aproduct and disease-state expertas wellas an expert in non-therapeutic areas such aspatient accessand businessacumenskills

  • Providing regular feedback to the sales management team on the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations for improvements

  • Collaborating with the salesand trainingmanagement team toidentifytraining needs and develop training plans that align with businessobjectives.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree

  • 2+years of field sales experience in pharmaceutical industry, or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products (e.g.CFR 210/211, cGMP)

  • High performing salestrack recordand strong understanding of what drives success in a commercial organization

  • Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of individualsto develop partnerships and align training with the business strategy

  • Proven ability to integrate business trends, brand strategies, and marketplace drivers into plans that drive competitive advantage to the organization

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with sales representatives and management.

Travel:

  • Willingness to travel up to60% of the time

Preferred:

  • Previousexperience as aRotational Trainer,District Sales Trainer,GuestTrainerexperience, Reach Development Participant

  • Previousexperience in training and development, preferably in a sales environment

  • Strongcoaching,presentationand facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners

  • Project management experience and/or proven ability to manage in a matrixed organization
