Lead Inventory Coordinator

Shift: Monday-Friday from 6:00am-2:30pm or until completion of work

Anticipated hourly range:$25.00 per hour - $35.80 per hour

What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.


Job Summary
The Lead Coordinator, Inventory Management is responsible for monitoring the maintenance and process issues and the resolution of those issues on the production floor. The job is responsible for removing barriers to production and suggesting corrective action as necessary. The job is responsible for a significant portion of the production process.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience, preferred.
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Leverage Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) to complete daily tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Perform physical activities such as bending, reaching, stooping, lifting, and standing for the duration of the shift to support operational needs.
  • Guide and develop team members through effective coaching, clear direction, and supportive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Process returned products by executing timely and accurate handling, documentation, and workflow completion for all incoming returned items.
  • Segregate products by classifying and separating returned materials in accordance with wastestream, environmental, and operational requirements.
  • Manage disposition containers by overseeing the opening, closing, and proper use of all designated containers to ensure compliant and efficient product handling.
  • Support team efficiency by assisting team members, addressing workflow needs, and helping maintain smooth daily operations.
  • Direct floor operations by supervising unpacking, inspection, repacking, staging, and coordinating outbound shipment schedules for returned goods.
  • Coordinate communications by managing email and crossdepartmental communication to resolve issues, provide updates, and align priorities with internal partner

  • May have team leader responsibilities but does not formally supervise
