Main responsibilities include leading post-deal and day-to-day alliance activities to shape and achieve the strategic objectives of the alliance, establishing clear communication lines across the partnership, anticipating and resolving potential issues, negotiating ancillary agreements and amendments and overall ensuring the highest quality relationship possible.The Director, Alliance Management will report to the Sr. Director Alliance Manager.You will be responsible for:<ul><li>Assigning specific alliances within Oncology and will lead partnership integration through launch, direction and strategic shifts, and enhancements.</li><li>Implementing Alliance Management programmatic processes and tools appropriate to the scope and needs of the alliance.</li><li>Participating as a member of the joint R&D and commercial project teams to proactively foster coordination and alignment of all internal and external partners to the goals and objectives of the alliance.</li><li>Openly, proactively, and clearly communicating across all lines of the partnership including Senior Management.</li><li>Anticipating and resolving issues and conflicts arising out of changing priorities and unpredictable events.</li><li>Monitoring the progress of the contract obligations and milestones and effectively monitor the satisfaction of the partner.</li><li>Providing input during pre-deal negotiations</li><li>Facilitating and/or negotiating ancillary agreements and amendments</li><li>Monitoring the progress of the contract obligations and milestones and effectively monitor the health of the alliance/partnerships</li></ul>Qualifications:Education:<ul><li>A Bachelor’s degree required.</li><li>An advanced degree (MS, MBA, Ph.D., etc.) in a scientific, technical or commercial field is preferred.</li></ul>Required:<ul><li>A minimum of 10 years related experience, working in a scientific, technical or commercial organization is required.</li><li>Experience developing and managing timelines, budgets and similar details on multiple large-scale projects or in a significant line capacity is required.</li><li>Experience in managing and working in a team environment is required, with a proven ability to mobilize and align diverse groups across multiple functions and companies to build interdependent partnerships.</li><li>An understanding of drug development is required.</li><li>Demonstrated strengths in problem solving, negotiation, and decision making will be needed, in addition to experience in working with senior levels within the organization.</li><li>Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as strong communication and listening skills are required.</li><li>Ability to manage complexities, think strategically and exercise good judgment is required.</li><li>This position can be based in Springhouse, PA, Titusville, New Brunswick or Raritan, NJ and will required up to 25% domestic and international travel.</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Experience in operations or program management is preferred.</li></ul>The anticipated base pay range for this position is $150,000 - $258,750.The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
